WHERE IS PONDO SINATRA?

Seems like everyone here has a story on where Matthey Causey has ended up. Does anyone out there have a definite answer? If he truly is a professor at a University, his photo must be online.

It isn't as far as I can tell after working on a couple of David Beairds films he went on to become a college proffessor. I believe he may be in Dublin. Try to find a picture of David Beaird. The only reason people think he is teaching in college is because that is all that can be found on line pertaining to Matthew Causey. Therefore people assume it must be the same person. I think the chance is slim that this is the same person. There is an equal chance he manages a Taco Bell in San Diego. Who knows without hiring a PI to track him down.

If you are friends with his son, get us a picture of Matthew and post it somewhere. All of the fans of this movie are curious. He was the reason that "The Party Animal" was so funny and we need more of him!!!

Hi, you're young, you got your health... What do you want with a job?

There was a picture of Mr Causey listed on one of the university sites that i saw a few years ago, but it was all fuzzy, like a television snowing up. I would love to see him embrace his Party Animal past.

If you checkout this webpage, you can find a clip of him talking about webcasting. It's funny to hear him speak without the southern accent in the movie :)

The time has come for Pondo to reveal his whereabouts! Would love to see a special edition DVD of Party Animal with Causey and Tim Carhart doing an audio commentary or at least a featurette on the film. Wishful thinking i know, but would be fun nonetheless, a double disc with one being the movie, audio commentary, featurette, trailers, poster gallery, bios and the other disc being the long-sought after Party Animal soundtrack with the Buzzcocks, Dream 6, Fleshtones...hell maybe even Radio Free Europe by REM! Oh to dream...

Before the internet became the big thing it is now, Professor Causey and I talked by email in 1996. He has a noticeable distaste for the movie but was nostalgic enough to confirm that I pegged him as an uncredited role in the movie My Chauffeur. (He played a DJ).

Hey and I remember that static TV picture of him on his faculty website. I would not be surprised if it is still up.

I doubt Radio Free Europe would be on any soundtrack CD, as it's been removed from the film in the new versions.

I did make a CD-R of the soundtrack for my own personal use...some of the songs are not on it because they are impossible to find..i did put all the Buzzcocks songs on it, Rain 6 and yes i did include REM- Radio Free Europe. I was thinking about re-doing it, but putting sound clips from the movie between the songs.
Totally love this movie, worn out 2 VHS tapes of it, i have my DVD...i would imagine Mr Causey would get out the sledge hammer the nurse who nailed him in the balls had and smash it into a million pieces if i sent it to him to be autographed..LOL!

Matthew Causey is actually on Facebook! Not sure if he'd be too happy about being contacted though!
