Continuity Goof *spoiler*

In the scenes were Nick is driving (in a 2-seater Thunderbird?) to Oxford, the rear license plate disappears & later, reappears. Near the beginning when he's passing all those houses, we see the plate. Then in a following scene, when he passes the Oxford/Stratford sign, the plate is gone. Then when he's driving through the campus, it reappears.
