Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a DVD of this fantastic movie?

Hi Shelly,

I purchased a DVD off a website about a year ago. I wish I had the information, but I lost it. I remember stumbling upon the sight. I was googling One Night Stand 1984 dvd under the Image tab and some guy selling hard to find movies was selling it. He had put a lot of old movies on DVDs. I'll try and dig it up and get back with you. I remember he had two copies of it. And the DVD is very clear.

And yes this is a fantastic movie!!

Yes, this movie is a gem pity it was overshadow granted by fantasic movies such as Threads, The Day After, and Testement

Hi Shelly, I tried to email that guy, but I never got a reply. Keep searching, hope you find it! I had it on VHS, but a few years back it got eaten by the tape player. If I come across anything, i'll let you know.

Finally got a copy of the DVD this week. It is playable but obviously copied from a VHS

Have you ever thought about ripping the DVD and uploading it?

It's been 30 years since release so the statute of limitations on the copyright probably has lapsed.

After just watching this film again I wonder why this never had an official DVD release? Mind you I don't think this ever had a very wide VHS release either (not out in the UK as far as I know). Maybe a problem with the music rights or something?

Such a good film. Very powerful ending.

Maybe it will get re-discovered and put out on Blu-Ray.
