Just came on Netflix in the UK
That's my Friday afternoon sorted.
shareI just noticed it, I've never seen it before. Shame on me but I only last year watched the Godfather trilogy, thought it was well 7/10 odd. I'm just not into that era of gangster movies..
However I love Pacino/De Niro, especially from 90's, heat, cape fear, devils advocate,etc
Anyway, I put this on. Firstly was shocked at run time (just short of 4hours) didn't mind the opening scenes. But that long scene with that bloody telephone ringing for soo long. I had to turn it off, just seamed like amateur hour, at the Kubrick household..
Is the film worth watching past this, or is it like this for four hours... Didn't seam in any rush what so ever??

shareI... I just to know what to tell you exactly. If you are annoyed by the telephone ring (which is at the very beggining of the movie), nah you probably won't get into Leone's style.
