Bobby Shelton & Billy Wayne

It is present-day 1984 in the movie. Bobby Shelton is a struggling 28-year old songwriter who's stuck with a no-talent agent whose gotten nothing but wedding gigs & one-night stands for Bobby through the years. I've often wondered why Bobby didn't drop Charlie Gray years ago (before he met Harry O. Tophet)? It is rare that a musician hangs onto the same type of agent for several years & not see any results in hinting towards making it big, as I'm guessing Shelton has been a professional songwriter/musician for @ least six years @ this point in the movie.

As for Billy Wayne, after his original contract for seven years expired with Tophet (a.k.a. The Devil), I wondered where he "disappeared" to after Tophet burned the contract in Wayne's dressing room, & I've wondered what happened to the original Billy Wayne after God brought back Bobby Shelton from the dead toward the end of the movie? I mean, did God have to allow Billy Wayne to die then & there in his dressing room?

All dilemmas aside, this is a great movie - almost as good as the first "Oh, God!" movie (with John Denver), yet MILES better than "Oh, God! Book II"!

Larry Appleton: "I have..."
Balki Bartokomous: "Oh, God!"
Larry Appleton: "...a plan!"
