DMK - minor goof

In the scene where Regina gets another high score and writes her name so that it overwrites DMK to make it disappear... is not how a high-score list would work. Instead, it would have just pushed his name underneath from 3rd to 4th spot and continued to appear until she played a bunch more games to sweep it off the board.

I noticed that as well, lol. Just a lot quicker to do that than have her playing on hours until DMK was off the list completely.

I noticed that too!

I feel compelled to chime in that I thought the exact same thing during that scene.

It brought back a lot of memories though... back in those days when I got a high score, I entered my initials DKM. So close.

The other minor goof was the license plate that read DMK. Since we can assume that he didn't actually get the Mercedes until after comet struck, how was he able to produce the license plate? Obviously, the DMV was no longer around.

I thought he could've had the plate on another car and swapped it to the Mercedes, or he was simply a rich kid who happened to survive and had the Mercedes even before the comet.

Yup... wondered how he got a vanity plate when the DMV is likely closed forever, then I speculated that he was a wealthy kid who had the car before the apocalypse.

...and Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lotta ice, whenever he's away

People say shit like that
"ooh never assume anything"
"oh assumption id the mother of all fuckups.."
Like its some clever life advice
, but , at the end of the day , you have to take some things as read / on assumption / deduction.
especially in a movie where they dont have time to lay out the entire history and physics of that universe.

I just watched this for my first time and I noticed it too since I grew up in the 80's playing lots of arcade games. It was in the 6th spot though and should've pushed it to the 7th spot. I thought it was so cool she was a gamer chick and liked to play Tempest. That was always a fun game.

Thanks. I was wondering what game she was playing.

Great avatar by the way. Love Megatron.
