Underrated and Entertaining

Did anyone else just absolutely love this movie? I'm 14, I am a HUGE fan of 80's horror and what not, and this felt fresh and fun. The characters were well developed (which is why it is probably one of my favorite 80's films) and it's blend of horror and comedy is perfect :)

Yes it is a great film to watch all right! I grew up during the 80's and when this film came out in 1984 I was just 12 1/2 years old. I use to see it a lot back in the day on the old USA Network before it was sold to NBC in 1998. I have a lot of the old programming from the 80's and the movies that were shown on USA Network and USA UP ALL NIGHT. I am sure a lot of the movies from the 80's that you loved are in the video section of my website. Check it out!

I was 11 when this movie came out but I never watched it, for some reason I missed it. I finally got around to watching it today and I got to say I was totally disappointed. It felt so thin and slow and could've been so much more. I could see how it could've been made to be so much cooler / better. So forgive me for saying so but I felt it's a bit overrated.

It was just okay. I was underwhelmed. The comedy was barely there. I did like the performances from Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney though.

Cool.

I loved it, too! Although it's not quite correct to call it a "spoof" it's arguably inspired by the film Omega Man.
