Banned in Canada?

Why?

"There's me
Looking down at my shoes
The one smiling like the sun
That's you"

reply

This isn't banned. I live in Canada, and I got it in the Drive-In Classics 50 pack.

It was banned in Ontario probably in the 80s. Around 85 the us mppa started refusing horror horror films r rating giving them choice cut it or get an x rating and no theatres will show it. Ontario did not allow x rated horror films that rating was for porn only. So you cut it or it didn't get released.
I just went thru the list of banned in canada films and most are available at hmv uncut. Also imported a few of those and no border hassles. Government really only bans obscene porn these days although with internet it seems pointless to me. Anyway this is why there are so many people who obsess about uncut versions and unrated versions, censorship on horror used to be brutal.
