Better Than I Remember It!

I have to admit, the first time I saw this in a grindhouse on The Deuce, I thought this film was a low-budget mess far below even the low expectations I had for schlock films. But, after watching this film all these years later, it's actually not bad!

It's been a while since I last viewed it. Should give it another try.

Maybe if you see it 1000 more times you can work yourself up to it being worthy of an Oscar...

The stories themselves are very messy and incoherent, but there's something about them that is still kind of entertaining to watch. I also like the philosophical segments with God and Satan and adored the song the band kept playing. I wouldn't call this anywhere near the best film of all time, but it's so bizarre you just can't help but like it. I think I will consider it a guilty pleasure.
