I know this movie was made with jaclyn Smith & Art Carney.My good friend says he is absolutely sure that Mickey Rooney had a version of this same movie.Does anyone know if he did.

You're probably thinking of "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear", also 1984, also with Scott Grimes.
