Cut and uncut version??

Hi folks,
just noticed there's a DVD on amazon which is described as "uncut version" - duration 99 minutes. Now make a guess which time is given for that movie on IMDB?
Yep. 99 minutes! :-P
What's wrong here? Is it an error in the IMDB database? Or, rather, this is just an unfair marketing strategy (tell the people this is an uncut version because then they will avoid every other dvd which is NOT labeled as being uncut, hahaha...)
To me, this is borderline to fraud...
If there WERE any cut scenes, I know what I would like to see in the missing parts: I was happy to find there again a certain Cary Guffey! Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a classic and needs no extra praise here, I'm sure; then he was in two movies with Bud Spencer, and I thought that was all. No, it wasn't. And I would have LOVED it, had they given him more screen time in "Mutant" than just these two clips in the schoolhouse.
I remembered Cary as a very young boy from Close Encounters... and the two italian movies; and only when the end credits rolled I jumped from my seat "what? that was HIM??"
Really a nice surprise. Again, I found it a pity that they didn't give him an opportunity to play more than these two scenes...
Aside from that little "minus" I should say I like the movie very much. Deserved more attention... And it has not half as much plot holes and similar flaws like many others had which were made at the sime time. You never get the impression, "wait a moment, now there's something which I don't get... it seems there's missing something..."
I really think "uncut" was just a "teaser" to make more people buy the DVD...
