The man driving the truck at the beginning who ran the brothers off the road. I believe he was also the janitor at the school.

Hello,
the truck driver was played by Stuart Culpepper. And I think the janitor at the school wasn't him but "Albert Hogue", played by Marc Clement (source: IMDB)
It's fun to respond to these age-old postings... I wonder whether the OP will ever read it :-)
