How cool would a remake to this be?

Plus cockfighting is illegal now.

I really don't think you could get away with some of the racial humor that are a big part of the movie. The black guy stealing the wallet with a white guy impersonating a negro voicing over calling the other black guy Tyrone is one. It might have potential & since 80% of the movies being made now are remakes, I wouldn't be surprised.

Might be interesting but not a black remake. Nothing against the new generation of black remakes some of them are decent but this could use a nice update. If they do it though they have to include the scene with the crazy spanish gay guy. Doesn't have to be the same guy but someone who can do a good impression at least. Also I'd like to see a remake of Moving Violations.

A remake would be a great idea, they could remake it with gags that are actually funny, rather than just pathetically crass. I mean come on, the sperm bank joke? Get real man. And don't even get me started on the cock-fighting.

I agree seriously on the Moving Violations remake, that would be really good, hard to beat the original in this case though.

Obsessed much?

I don't want any remake at all. No one could ever replace Linda Blair in her role, she is such a sweetie in this one and what a killer body.

I too think a remake is needless and ill-advised. This kind of sublime artistry can't be done a second time; it's just like catching lightning in a bottle. You do it once and that's it; a remake would never possess half the magic and wonder of the original. Leave it alone. "Night Patrol" is perfectly putrid cinematic refuse that should remain as it is: a gloriously tasteless testament to the joy of racially offensive, socially irresponsible and, best of all, totally politically incorrect humor at its most unapolegetically crass and stupid.

If it were remade now, it would have whatever overrated comedic actor of the moment in the lead and it would be PG-13 as to get all the younger audience's money and be completely juvenile and PC.

What is it with remakes??? Boycott remakes! You must have liked this movie to some extent, what would the point be of a remake? How are you going to remake a movie like this? It will never be as endearingly oddball as the original, it would be a complete waste of time. All this remake B.S. has gotten out of hand. Note to Hollywood: write some new freakin movies!!!

Why the hell would anyone want this remade? Or anything now for that matter. Bring back sequels.
