Best Baseball Movie ever??

I have seen just about every baseball movie ever made including Ed, reluctantly of course, and in my opinion this is the greatest baseball movie ever made as well as the best acting role of Redford's famed career. Thoughts?

I think it's up there in the Top 3. For nostalgia reasons and the fact that it's such a great movie -- I'd have to say "A League of Their Own" as my personal favorite baseball movie.

The Pride of the Yankees, The Sandlot, *61, The Rookie and Eight Men Out are up there, too.

It's my personal favorite baseball movie, most of the other ones mentioned have their good moments - I do really like a lot of A League of Their Own except for the maudlin sappy last part which didn't seem to fit what preceded it. I was surprised how entertaining Moneyball was for a modern take on the game. Field of Dreams and Pride of the Yankees are up there too. They should edit all the Seinfeld Yankees/Mets segments into a short movie those are pretty priceless lol.
