MEANING OF THE TITLE
An interesting movie, with some proper acting from Sir Roger Moore for a change. Shame it's not available on DVD.
What does the title mean or refer to? Does anyone know?

Before the murderer strikes again, Dr. Stevens has to strip away the mask of innocence the criminal is wearing and uncover the killer's inner emotions, fears, and desires to expose the naked face beneath that mask.
