shareNo, it just drives me nuts that everyone is saying that the Muppets are gay. Fozzie isn't gay. I think he was a little child in a way so maybe a girl bear coming onto him scared him. Think Gilligan on Gilligan's Island when Ginger would seduce him.
shareFozzie is a shy kid who is heavily dependent on his friends, but many people would find his experience acutely uncomfortable anyway. He is under the impression that the cave is limited to his gender and suddenly slapped with the knowledge that he is sitting next to a female. That is like a boy changing in a male locker room only to discover that a girl is watching him. Fozzie whimpers his friend's name as if to say, "Kermit! This strange girl is lying on top of me! Will you please pick up the pace?" If the Muppets were human, then Waldorf, Statler, and Janice would definitely be homosexual. Fozzie, however, would just be a soft, sensitive guy who would eventually grow up and make a fantastic husband.
