I actually thought about this after I watched this movie today. I agree to an extent...I kinda hold The Muppet Christmas Carol in a league of it's own though...
shareIt really is. The songs, the fact that the Muppet babies spun off from this, the wedding with ALL the muppets, the fact that all of them split up and come back together. Everything about this movie is sweet!

This one was alright, but alot of it was boring or depressing. I much prefer the Muppet Movie, and then the Great Muppet Caper, then this one. It's probably because I don't like Miss Piggy much, and she's got a more important part in this one.

shareI loved this movie when I was little, I find the Muppet Movie a bit boring compared to this, I've never seen The Muppet Caper and I classify Christmas Carol in a league of its own, I love Miss Piggy and the show at the end and the songs are amazing.

It's been a long time since i've seen The Great Muppet Caper, but what I remember of it... it was awesome!!! In my opinion, there are three classic muppets. The reason I stop at the first three is because they are not a retelling of an old story using muppets... they are movies ABOUT the muppets. The Muppet Movie; The Great Muppet Caper; and Muppets Take Manhattan.

I haven't seen either The Muppet Movie or The Great Muppet Caper since around Easter 2000 - over 14 years ago now - so I don't know whereabouts in the above list they'd fall yet.
I think it's the 3rd best after THE MUPPETS 2011 and MUPPETS MOST WANTED.
