That was supposed to be the name of the sequel. The end credits say "Palmer and Eddie Will Be Back in 'Tourista'!" Talk about a disappointment ... right up there with "Buckaroo Bonzai and the Urban Crime League."

this movie bombed so of course no sequel was even thought of after the movie was in the theaters, they did that TOURISTA thing while editing, and when youre editing a film you dont know if it's going to bomb or if it'll be a hit, so the movie bombs, then the star, judd, became one of the biggest stars in the world for about two years and of course he wouldnt have done a sequel to this film...
but now, years later, all who were involved have no careers, or no big ones anyhow, from judd to diceman to gordon jump, so why not make TOURISTA, i mean, it couldnt hurt any.
Make Tourista now, I would love to see it!

If you want something done right you've got to do it yourself. I'm sure if this gang of "MTG" fans got together with a couple of kegs and a wardrobe of materials that "almost feel like something real" we could make our own Tourista. I think the production values would be just about consistent, too.

That does not sound like a bad idea to make Tourista as the sequel and I am sure it can be done without any problems at all. I loved the first movie Making The Grade! It was a great movie to watch!

That is great to hear because that is a classic movie to watch and I loved watching that when I saw it on USA Network back in the day when they had better programmin than what they have now on the new USA Network.

I always thought it would have taken place the summer after graduation, with Eddie going somewhere tropical to enjoy his $10,000, running into Palmer again and getting into trouble.

Eddie & Tracy, with Eddie's 10 Grand would have taken a vacation & the real Palmer & Muffy with Palmer's Trust Fund unlocked,(after he goes to his family lawyer), would have settled in a relaxing place & Rand being Palmers best friend would have went with them then Eddie would have went to Palmer & Nicky & made new financial propositions with them & as we know Coach got rid of Diceman. But Eddie would have a very happy life with Tracy & probably Eddie & Nicky with Palmer financing from his millions from the trust fund would open a Tourist Service with others doing the work.

In Tourista we catch up with the "teenagers" from Making the Grade as they all cope with Alzheimers.
Trust me I have seen tons of movies do that saying that they will come out with a sequel and it never happens which really sucks! I was looking for that as well and hoping that it would have happened.
