shareThe one thing that always bugged me about that is that Boldolza's ship was blown to smithereens yet there's Hikaru's Valkyrie unharmed. In the original series, the Macross enabled it's barrier to protect itself from the blast. Is that what I should assumed happened in DYRL?
Just my one cent since I can't afford two.
As I can remember in DYRL, Bodolza's ship does not explode into pieces. After a burst of light, it just seems to die, losing its energy, it changes color and looks like drying up.
