No, Julie Newmar is not topless in this film. In fact, Ms. Newmar does not have all that much screen time in this film. She plays the scriptwriter of a film based upon her character's Hollywood career. She does get upset when the director (portrayed by Franz Luz) changes her script by allowing a "sex scene" to be included into the film. It is this "sex scene" that drives the whole story of this film. The director's wife (portrayed by Tiffany Bolling) has sex with her costar during the "sex scene", but while doing so, she experiences her first-ever real orgasm. She confides this to the production photographer (portrayed by Britt Eklund), and she also confesses that she had been faking her orgasms with her husband the entire time they have been married. The photographer advises her to tell her husband about it, but Bolling's character is afraid to do so. The actress eventually has an affair with her costar, but is shattered when he discovers him cheating on her with another woman (Monique Gabrielle, in a sizzling softcore sex scene that is one of the best performances of her career). Eventually, The director finds out about his wife's infidelity, and his inadequecies in the bedroom. The couple eventually make up, and the movie ends with both of them happily making love in the bedroom.
