How not to be a lonely guy?

Well, first off let me give you some advise. You don't go slamming all of womanhood on imdb.
We all don't act like they do in the movies.

Second of all if you are truly looking for a decent woman you need to look in places where you can find them!

I know plenty of lovely women who have much to offer a man, but the men want the pretty looking empty headed bimbos and then complain when they aren't much of a companion.

Some simple things to consider: don't try too hard because nothing will ever happen if you do.

Make eye contact and smile at people. Do the typical gentlemanly things like holding doors and so on.

And stay in shape. :) I don't care who you are or what anyone says: if you're not in decent shape then you're going to make EVERYTHING else that much more difficult. It's a fact and anyone who says it is not is in denial or a liar. I'm not saying heavy peeps can't find love but honestly most people are not attracted to people like that--even the ones who ARE like that don't think it's attractive.

If you like weird things like MST3K for example then be sure to attend fun events where there will be people there who like it too. In this example, go to the Rifftrax Live events. If you like science fiction movies and stuff then go to a sci-fi convention. If you like animals then volunteer at a shelter where they have events or go to a doggie marathon (like the VPI K9K). If you like board games and puzzles then try finding social groups on sites like meetup.com and go to weekly events. My sister does that and she has made some decent friends and there are definitely shy singles who go as a way to meet others like them. :)
