Just watched it again on the 25th anniversary DVD

Just watched it again on the 25th anniversary DVD

Awesome little movie.

Someone described it as the best B movie of the decade.

Not even the small budget could hamper this film. It feels like a blockbuster that you can carry around with you in your shirt pocket.

Intimate, grand, familiar, timeless.

I remember when the movie was released there were alot of trailers on TV advertising the movie in theatres. I dont remember seeing it in the theatre but recall watching it on video shortly thereafter and was more impressed with the story on Earth than what was going on in space as I felt the villains were significantly weaker than those of Star Wars...nevertheless, I enjoyed the use of the decoy/assassin down on earth to enhance the movie's dual stories.

Just bought that 25th Anniversary DVD yesterday.

Do I want my own Gunstar?

Will I ever trifle with a Bodati?

Would I crash Blake's pickup into the Zando-Zan's ship to stop its transmission?

When my big chance comes, will I grab on with both hands and hold tight?

Does Lance Guest remind me of Jonathan Frakes?

What do you think?

The Falcon flies

Yes,

And did Geloka think the Yulus were too ugly to save?
