Thanks for the kind words about "Starfighter"... I'm still very proud of that score as well! As far as a sequel, I know that there has been a script written but as of now the financing has not come in... so it's not dead, just waiting.

Maybe if Tron Legacy is a success, it will encourage the studio to bankroll the Last Starfighter sequel and maybe even start a trend to sequelize obscure 1980s sci-fi franchises. Bring on The Ice Pirates 2!

After seeing Ice Pirates, I asked the school bus driver if Space Herpes were real. She just had this blank look on her face and said "Yeah, sure kid. Now, get on the bus."
I have no idea why I asked the bus driver of all people. I guess I didn't feel comfortable enough with my parents to ask about Space Herpes.
I hear that Lucas originally planned "Willow" to be the first of a trilogy. If you're theory is right, we may get to see the next two! :D

Why would Lucas care about Willow sequels when he can still pimp out Indiana Jones and Star Wars? If the man really cared, he would have tried immediately after the success of the fantasy LOTR series. The man is fat, lazy, and money-grubbing. No way would he dare gamble on a failed franchise. He is what he always hated: a Hollywood mogul obsessed with money over story. I no longer care for the once legitimate story-teller he once was. He has sold his soul and will never return to the light-side. In other words, Vader won.

He's re releasing all of the "new" Star Wars movies in 3D in theatres.... I guess he won't molest the originals for a while then.
