Name of the Jars Instrument
Any suggestions of/references to the spelling of the name of the instrument the Schmenge Brothers played early on? The jars emulating Lionel Hampton.
gelkis is the best i've come up with.
The instrument is called gelkis. I am not sure of the spelling, but that is what the call it. The most popular instrument from Leutonia, on the dark side of the Balkans.
And when will they finally release this on DVD? My VHS is becoming delicate.
