STOP RE-DUBBING THESE FILMS!!!

Just got the DVD version and was enjoying it until the fighting started and realised they re-dubbed the sound effects with more "realistic" ones.

It's absolute *beep* becasue the hits now sound weak and muffly. The sound effects are incredibly important to action like this as they have to match the on screen moves to get that sense of impact. The Chinese know this and that's why the effects are so OTT.

This along with re-dubbing English dialogue is a huge problem in the kung-fu film world as you end up with several different versions, none of which are the ones that myself and others who were fans of these films when they came out remembers.

They should offer the VHS soundtracks as a selectable option at least as this isn't the first time I've run into this issue and it spoils the films.
