I just watched this for the 1st time in 20+ years.

I remember loving it. Still good, but for some reason I'm now hearing just how awful his accent is. He drops in and out of his 'New Yawk' thing and then just back to 'Law And Order Sam' every 2-3 minutes.

I give it a pass because it's a great movie, but it's interesting how forgiving we can be about poor acting when we really like a movie. He shoulda picked one and stuck with it. :D

I'm pretty sure it's a Massachusetts accent he's doing (which is where Schanberg is from), but it really only showed up in words with an "ar" sound.
