Why no underwear?
Naussica is very obviously naked, at least from the waist down, under that very short tunic. Does anyone else find this a bit odd?

Haha I thought the same thing for a little while.. Thought it was hilarious. Then I realized that she is actually wearing ivory colored pants.. You can see the fabric crease in several scenes.. Was disappointed. ;)

shareAgreed. I've always remembered Nausicaa as the anime where the girl, for some strange reason, doesn't bother wearing pants or underwear. I first saw it in the 80s, and just now I've learned that she was wearing pants. Sort of ruins the mystique of that movie for me. Sucks.
shareShe is wearing pants. Look closely, read the FAQ, look at the character designs. She is wearing pants, they are very close in color to her skin, but there are pants there.
I hate IMDB's Signature policy...
She's wearing pants. Some versions just have poor colour fidelity and her pants are too close to her skin colour
