The girl who quit just before heading to the mall...

...was the only rational one in the movie. I kept wondering why the main girl would risk her job and her dignity to prove something to a bunch of sorority bitches she didn't seem all that interested in anyway. I can see putting up with a few pranks, but breaking and entering (especially somewhere as personal as your job) was too much and not even worth it considering the reward was getting to live in a house with those girls. The risk simply wasn't worth the prize.

She did seem pretty apathetic about the whole sorority thing.

She said she was in managerial training there, or something like that. That's why she had keys.

But yeah, I could see it happening anyway.

I think she wanted to make memories, she told the hot guy/boyfriend about an old woman trying to remember her youth thru her...said she wanted to remember everything...

That's what I think too. She was apathetic about the sorority thing but she wanted to try it out and seems to have made a few friends there, unless they were friends before. Heck, they may have even talked her into it.

And yes, she did work at the department store but her 'dad' owned it. Heck, she even told Allison that if the security guard saw her to just tell him that she was friends with Kelly and he'd leave her alone... in the middle of the department store that HE was in charge of keeping secure.

I don't think that she would have done it if she hadn't known she could get away with it, honestly. It was just meant to be a fun memory that she could hold onto.
