The Initiation/Mountainto p Motel Massacre double feature?
Does anyone know if they are both uncut on the double feature DVD?
no they are both the same as the R rated VHS but the DVD is widescreen while the VHS is fullscreen

shareAnyone else think it's kind of an insult to pair this with MOUNTAINTOP? That movie just blew chunks and while INITIATION is not exactly a classic it's much better. I would think INITIATION would be better teamed with HELL NIGHT, FUNHOUSE or even EATEN ALIVE. MTM is just an embarrassment.
I don't think it's unfair to pair the two. Neither are remarkable films, though "The Initiation" is obviously the bigger-budget picture— it's got Vera Miles and Clu Galager in it, while "Mountaintop Motel" stars a bunch of unknowns who never made another film. MTM is definitely the greater obscurity, but I don't think it's an insulting pairing by any means. I've always thought MTM was kind of boring though.
shareI picked this up over the weekend for $6 just because I wanted to see The Initiation (I watched it last night and had a good time, even if the film is flawed) and see Mountaintop Motel Massacre as just being a bonus. I've yet to watch it, however.
Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.
