It's a good introduction to one of the main characters, and the story takes no time getting to the action and thrills.
I saw this as a kid and had, of course, seen Raiders. I thought the opening was great and knew as soon as Indy showed up things would get exciting.
shareI saw it a year or two later on tv so would have been about 7, was captivated by it, and the whole film. #2&3 are my favourites.
