I'm not going to comment directly on your point, but want to mention that when my two sons went to college, I pulled them aside to tell them to study hard (they got one shot at this), stay the hell out of trouble, and they will be subjected to a metric shitload of racist and hateful spew from college professors who know nothing except working 25 hours a week with no chance of being laid off. I made them promise not to argue with them until they graduated, then they could go back and tell them what total assholes they are.
