You should watch "Radio Days" by Woody Allen if your a Seth Green fan. He is pretty funny in this movie. He's a kid during the 40's around WWII. My favorite part is when his parents(His mother is Julie Kavner aka Marge Simpson)Take him to see their Rabbi about his bad behavior. Its pretty funny. The Rabbi wacks him in the back of the head and the parents get upset. I laugh everytime I see it. This movie was from 1986 so Green is about 12 years old.
Look at ya, All back o' the Bus and *beep*

Okay, Seth Green was 8 years old in Hotel New Hampshire (age 10 in Radio Days). His character in the movie is lovable and worth watching. The Hotel New Hampshire is one of several John Irving books made into a movie. Others include, The World According To Garp (1982) starring Robin Williams in his 2nd film role, The Cider House Rules (1999), The Door in the Floor (2004), and Simon Birch (1998) which was inspired by the novel "A Prayer For Owen Meany". The reason the name is different is because John Irving didn't think his book could be turned into a film, so when he sold the screen rights to it he did so with the condition that they change the name. He was right, Simon Birch did not do the book justice. A prayer For Owen Meany is one of my favorite books and John Irving my favorite author. If you're not much of a reader I recommend watching the movies. If you want to get into reading I whole heartedly recommend any of the John Irving novels mentioned here. I enjoyed both the books and the movies.

That's intersting.
Ironically enough, out of the book to movie adaptations that you mentioned, I enjoyed 'Simon Burch' the most.
If you say the movie didn't do it justice then, I can't wait to read the book!
Thanks for the info!
