Rob Lowe and Matthew Modine should have swapped parts

Lowe always gives off an ultra-slick smarmy typically preppie vibe rather than a sympathetic one, and would therefore have made more sense as the handsome and superficially appealing but ultimately loathsome rapist jock 'Chipper Dove'. I'm not saying that Lowe is a creep In real life but his onscreen persona better fits that type of callous character. By contrast, Modine tends to excel more at sensitive characters in films like 'Full Metal Jacket', 'Memphis Belle' and 'And the Band Played on' and would therefore have been better suited to the brother, 'John Berry'.
