Wherefore is the DVD?
No DVD released for this great film? Hard to believe. Hope I am mistaken.

I'd buy it, no question. I was just recalling reading the book, then watching this when it aired in 1984, so thought I'd check it out. The story, in both book and film, has stuck with me all these years. Would love to see it again.
shareI ordered the movie from a bootlegger outfit called TrueTVMovies, and though expensive ($17) it is a surprisingly good transfer.
But yeah, this movie needs to be released (even though it's a bit harrowing and certainly depressing...)
