who is the actor who played harry's boss?

that dude reminds me a lot of michael landon.... it is a weird deja vu every time i see this movie. i had assumed all this time that it was michael landons son, but the credits dont show that. and, i have no idea what the character's name is so i cant figure the actors name. but i am sure the guy was in other stuff. if not, he shoulda been. he did a good job
