So much better than the new one

I saw the new one and wasn't impressed at all. Decided to watch this one the day after and it's much better. It actually shows how Tarzan grew up with the apes, how he learned to speak with them, and how he transitioned into his life with humanity. The new one just showed us Tarzan swinging from trees and that was the extent of his apeness. Avoid the new one, and watch this one.

because the new one was a sequel, not another lame reboot/origin story.

Greystoke, dude!

Greystoke was an origin story. LoT was a sort of Sequel. not another lame reboot.

That was not a sequel. That attempted to be a standalone. And it was garbage. There were far too many similarities for it to be a sequel.
