why did billy have to bring his dog to work ?
couldn't he just left hm at home?
shareMaybe he didn’t want to leave him at home, maybe he couldn’t. Who knows? It’s a film, accept it lol.
shareThat’s what I always think whilst watching this. I love it and I know it’s just a movie, but he works in a bank. I can understand if he was a builder etc... but a bank clerk. It’s weird!
shareYou're saying that a builder would allow his pet dog to roam a building site, with the dangers involved?
No, they don’t roam. They just stay with them. I worked for so many caterers whilst attending university. Several building sites were visited twice daily and many, many builders always had their dogs there with them. They weren’t roaming the site though xo
shareAbsolutely. I call them "construction dogs" and have since the '70s. They often do not need to be leashed up, as some just lounge in the bed of the owners pick-up or just stay by their blanket and dog bowl. They are usually the nicest, best socialized dogs in the world, unfazed by loud noise and activity and used to lots of strangers passing and petting them.
And these days (or before Covid) lots of offices are dog friendly.
Definitely!! I always used to see them on sites and you’re absolutely correct about them being so well behaved.
shareI somewhat agree though it did make there be a scene to show that mean woman acting even more mean. Thus feeling satisfaction when she gets killed by the Gremlins.
sharemaybe they combined 2 scenes to make the movie flow better, like ms deagle shows up at his house with the broken snowman in the original script or there is dialogue i missed where billy knows ms deagle will come looking for the dog at his house and he has to hide him at work ?
shareJust been to my book shelf to see if this is elaborated on in the novel...
and i seem to have lost it :(
