I Kinda like this movie ...

I'm 35 ... a child of the 80's (though on the young side.) Even though I was pre-teen and couldn't see these movies in the theatre - "cable" was a lot different then and I had no shortage of 80's teen (sex) comedies.

I remember seeing this movie years ago and was very happy to see it playing the other night on FMC (right before Porky's Revenge) - I watched it again to see if it was as good as I remember (sometimes the movies we loved have a "what was I thinking" quality when we see it later in life) Yes, I still like it.

Sure it is campy with not much plot and what little it had was very unrealistic ... but that is not a defect of this movie in particular. ALL of the movie's of this genre and this time period were the same! (I wouldn't classify the way superior John Hughes films as the same genre because they weren't "sex" comedies.)

But it was an entertaining 90minutes and the music was GREAT! I would rate this movie 5 stars and not the 3 it shows on here.
