I had recorded this film off cable tv (showtime or HBO) many years ago in the 80's when I caught it once at night.

However a nice remastered version would be good to see, since no dvd exist (well one not from the vhs tape). Speaking of which, though I doubt it, the cable channels would use the theatrical prints. I do not think any of the music would have been changed or removed for home release, but usually those changes would show up on video and laserdisc.

If anyone can confirm such a thing please let me know. If the above is remotely true in anyway, I can make a copy of the original audio version (again if such a thing even existed) that I snagged off cable tv
