Machine wrapped with butter?

Nothing exists more beautifully than nothing.

The only thing more annoying in this film is Fisher's voice, which is part of the same overall fake, uptight, foreigner expat fake Brit accent, amplified by highly annoying box-audio effect. I tried every possible modification of my speakers and audio controls, to no avail. Fisher's voice is so utterly affected and artificial, I had to stop watching the film several times before eventually making my way through it.
Never in the history of film has a voice been so annoying to me... well ok, maybe Piwi Herman, but I was never able to sit through one of those either.
I wish he had filmed this in his native language, I would have read subtitles and been much happier.

I loved it. So moody, dark, lonely and depressing. I know this stuff isn't for everyone but it took me to another place. Dark City did too.

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

I liked it. Sure, it looks like von Trier had Andres Serrano develop the film stock, but it's a fascinating aesthetic nonetheless.

I turned the color off, not exactly what Lars had in mind, but some films just should have been shot in b & w.
