Worst Title Song of 1984?

Leonard Maltin named Flashpoint as having the Worst Title Song of 1984. As far as I know there were 11 1984 movies that had title songs. Here's How I rank them:

11. Blame It on Rio performed by Lisa Robers & Oren Waters
10. Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now) performed by Phil Collins
9. Flashpoint performed by Scott Richardson and The Gems
8. Woman In Red performed by Stevie Wonder
7. Breakin' (There's No Stopping Up)performed by Ollie & Jerry
6. Footloose performed by Kenny Loggins
5. Neverending Story performed by Limahl featuring Beth Anderson
4. Ghostbusters performed by Ray Parker Jr.
3. Up The Creek performed by Cheap Trick
2. Songwriter performed by Willie Nelson
1. Purple Rain Performed by Prince

That ending title song almost ruined the film. So bad and corny. The director wanted "Sympathy for the Devil" to end the film which would have been perfect. Alas, they couldn't afford the license.

The song sucks-period. Most 80s music did tho, esp soundtrack only songs.
