Between Mr. Brody and Jeffery was a little weak . Here's how I would written it :

Mr. Brody : hey Jeffery forget that stock boy job and I want you to come work with me as a salesman maybe send you to my new store in California ......

Jeffery : I don't think so Mr. Brody! I don't want to work for a cheat ! You and big Sid had a nice Run but now all your friends know how you screwed them over a lot of money ......and my father always taught me , NEVER SCREW OVER YOUR FRIENDS , have a nice night !

And Richard Crenna plays that part so well. Always enjoy him in any movie I've seen him in.

But of course, I am being aggressively naive!

I can easily see Dillon saying something like that in another movie, but not this one for some reason. But yeah, he should have.
