I just wanted to know if that phrase, which is said whenever someone wins a Gin hand, means something specific to the game. Can anyone provide an explanation on this? I'm not a card player so I really didn't understand why that phrase was said. It sounds cool, though!

shareI've never heard that phrase outside this movie but "sweet ginger brown" just refers to the color of actual Gin.. so instead of saying Gin after a winning hand, they say sweet ginger brown instead.
