Nahh actually, he's right on. The 80s were the best era for low budget, amoral, exploitation slasher movies. Gone is the art and instead what you get is sleaze, trash, filth, some gore, rampant political incorrectness, gratuitous nudity, and some imaginative killing methods.

And you watch these instead for what, the writing?

I agree that the 80s (along with 60s-70s) were the best periods for films. As for Fatal Games being amazing...no...

But it is still damn good! :D I can see how some may hate it, but I'd put it near the top of my favorite unseen slashers list.

I finally just saw this and I enjoyed it a lot. The 80's were definitely the best time for low budget slashers. Nowadays most low budget slashers just don't work they don't have the same charm. Anyways, this reminded me a lot of "Graduation Day" and I really liked that twist. I laughed at all the ridiculous stuff in this flick.

This one was pretty bad but you haven't lived until you've heard "Take it to the Limit"...ha ha, 80's schlock at its best!
