i couldn't help but notic: a background 'extra' staring into the camera

in the scene towards the ending where molly's walking with her friend during christmas. around 1:30:30 into the movie, there's a man wear sunglasses with his wife walking beside molly and her friend, and i swear he was smiling and staring into the camera for the whole scene..

Yes, I noticed it, too.

OMG! yes I just finished watching and I noticed that too! I supposed he is not an extra, he is just a normal people walking by. Normally they do that in movie scenes, they just shoot on the crowded road. maybe the man didn't know there was shooting going on LMAO

I've been on the streets as a normal person twice while movies are getting shot. Both times someone got on a megaphone and told everyone around not to look towards the camera and try to act as normal as possible. Weekend at Bernie's II and some Disney movie. Anyway, in other words, don't act like they are shooting a movie around you

I noticed this, too! I thought he was going to start talking to them LOL

I just saw the scene. It wasn't very long, and, I don't think he was necessarily looking into the camera. He could have been watching Streep and Wiest, which woukdn't have really been proper to do either, considering.

reply

Yep, the guy in the brown leather jacket does look like he staring right in to the camera and smiling...
