I think I'll watch the movie "Electric Dreams"... odd how this movie isn't even listed on Netflix, it's as if it doesn't even exist. I love this movie though. It's like a tiny gem inside of a sock that got caught in a stasis leak within a wormhole to the '80s.
It's funny how much Lenny von Dohlen's character Miles in the movie reminds me of Brad from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

One of my most favorite films of all time. A great story mixed with a fantastic soundtrack. So unfortunate that it is unavailable these days. So many are deprived of the opportunity to enjoy this classic.

I have mixed feelings regarding the film. While it's a sweet, life-affirming, and good-natured film, it's a bit too incredible, flashy, meandering, and disoriented at times in terms of its plotting. Of course, a lot of suspension of belief is required, as with a lot of fantasies. It's akin to watching a long music video. I do like how the film celebrates the joy, wonder, and art of music making though. The music is good and the computer graphics are interesting for its time.

It *is* like an extended music video experience. A product of its time (and probably cause of all the rights issues), but I saw it at the right time of my life and it had a profound effect on me.
