Released in 1984, Dune was a Box Office Bomb and a Critical Failure, But Why, Well here are 10 things wrong with Dune.

I only really have 3 issues with it:

1.) The special-effects are cheesy, but that's understandable, considering it was the 80s.

2.) The weirding modules did not exist in the book. They were entirely made up for the film. Basically, David Lynch misinterpreted how the Bene Gesserits used The Weirding Way, or thought it didn't look cool enough for a movie; so he came up with these peculiar hand-weapons that were powered by sound and neurological impulses from the user's brain.

3.) The Baron was horrendously disgusting. At least in the miniseries you could sort of handle looking at him better, but in this film, he was....ugh! :P
