2020 is already proving to be The Superior film

shooting in Wadi Rum is more like Arrakis than Mexico

also The Casting is Superior

having it in 2 Parts will allow to breath as well

Why not a trilogy?

How on earth can you know without at least seeing a trailer?

I agree the longer the better, but the last reboot (It) over a book I loved wasn't as good as the predecessor.

I do like the 1984 movie, though it clearly has issues. One of the things I like the most is the casting and costumes.

This thing is going to bomb very badly.
The story itself may be worth reading in a book, but as a movie it just doesn't work. It has to do with the fact that the movie is taking itself seriously but the story is so out of touch with reality and even the characters were not believe or at least the harkonian ones. I don't believe it's going to be that different in the new movie.
And the idea of splitting it is going to hurt even more financially.
Don't get me started on casting decisions!

right considering its going up againist Top Gun Maverick and Joseph Konsinki isnt an actual filmmaker your wrong also it three hours Long and dividing the first book into two parts and Villeneuve BR 2049 proved to be a great audition tape your wrong pal anjd the casting is great

I liked BR 2049.
At least they should give their audience 4-5 hours for the money.
Let's wait it out!
I watched the 1984 movie and the 2000 TV-Mini-Series.
Watching the series first helped me understand the movie, which is not a positive thing. I only watched the movie because of the director.
It surely would have helped if the movie were a bit longer.
You really believe there is a big audience out there for this movie in 2020/2021?
This whole story reminds me of Valerian.
I actually watched that movie at home and was positively surprised.
Maybe the story is going to repeat itself!
