My anticipation for this mostly depends on if Blade Runner 2049 is good.

I hope the soundtrack is as awesome as Vangelis's. It's one of my all time favourites.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it as a whole, but I have my reservations. I don't really think Deckard needs to be in it as it takes away from a lot of the ambiguity. I also hope it doesn't fall in to the Force Awakens trap of it being a nostalgic retread (although I do actually like TFA to a certain extent).

To be fair, David Lynch disowned his version because the studio made him change it so much that it wasn't his vision of it anymore.

Best to let Lynch do his own thing and then you end up with a masterpiece, (even if some don't realise it at the time).
