The 80s was truly the era of cheezy barbarian flicks (including the more serious efforts like Conan I & II).

Those and WiP (Women in Prison) flicks were to the 80s what teenage high-school romps and nurse flicks were to the 70s.

Thanks are due to Blockbuster, for killing the secondary video market and making such low-budget pix a thing of the past (along with the sort of idiot who preferred Blockbuster to the local stores)
